The Eternal Brothers Club, a premier social and societal-oriented organization, once again demonstrated its core values of brotherhood and avid solidarity this past weekend. Members gathered in significant numbers to witness and celebrate the colorful wedding ceremony of Mr. Okechukwu Igwe and his bride, formerly Miss Matilda Nwangele.

A Gathering of Excellence

The elaborate reception, hosted at the prestigious Main Hall of Salt Lake Hotels, Abakaliki, featured the "creme de la creme" of Ebonyi society. The event was a testament to the club’s influence, drawing attendance from Distinguished members of the academia, Elected and appointed government officials, Prominent business impresarios.

Words from the President

The Ebullient President of the Club, Hon. Charles Akpu-Enika—popularly known in political and social circles as "The Game Changer"—led the delegation.

In his address, Hon. Akpu-Enika, who served as the immediate past Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports in Ebonyi State, prayed for God’s protection and abundant blessings upon the new couple. He reaffirmed the club's foundational mission:

"The presence of club members here shows the unity existing in it and the love we embody which have catapulted us to enviable glory. The club places high premium on members’ welfare and despite the presence of the movers and shakers of the society in it, we are bonded as one in unity and brotherliness."
